Happy Birthday Preteen

Finding the perfect birthday gift for a preteen girl can be difficult ( I know this because I have two daughters and a niece, (ages 15, 12, 11). My sister had the right idea this year, and I just have to hook you up with her brilliance. She sent a skin and hair care package with a handwritten letter

Here is what she wrote in the handwritten letter in the photo:

Here are your birthday items:
Hair: wash weekly, moisturize, set repeat
Face: wash twice daily, moisturize
Skin: moisturize, apply spot removal cream with pointed q-tips) daily, until the spot matches/return to normal.
Nails: TRY ONE OF MY FAVORITE COLOR

My daughter was more than thrilled to have her own little items to care for her growing body. Saying “its mine” is a big deal to a pre-teen, so the next time you are confused about getting a young lady a gift, think about all the little things ( body wash, perfume, hairbrush, makeup) that matter to you.

Our girls need us. If you don’t have daughter, you have sisters or friends who do.
