If you see my car strolling through your neighborhood, please don’t be alarmed – I’m not there for you. I am only there for the trees.
Trees have a way of feeding me.
I think about climbing their limbs, sitting a while and falling asleep under its shade. When there is canopy – each tree stretching its branches out to reach the other – I wonder about their thoughts.
Do they graciously give in to winter’s desire to strip them naked?
Do they sway with gratitude when their leaves return in spring?
Do they know, I am strolling beneath them, in awe?
The trees have something to say-
And I am listening.
What in nature is speaking to you?
